Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive reservoir management plans to maximize economic recovery.
• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization studies using geological and engineering data.
• Perform material balance calculations, well performance analysis, and decline curve analysis.
• Build and maintain sophisticated reservoir simulation models to predict future performance and evaluate development scenarios.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers to integrate subsurface data and optimize field development strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior reservoir engineers within the team.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE).
• Strong understanding of reservoir drive mechanisms, fluid properties, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning applications in reservoir engineering is a plus.
