About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and champion the overall technical vision and architecture for game projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Oversee the development and optimization of the game engine and core systems.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and stability of game builds across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other leads to align technical execution with project goals.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and implementing new solutions where appropriate.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in game development , with a significant portion in a senior technical leadership role (e.g., Lead Programmer, Technical Director).
• Expertise in C++ and a deep understanding of 3D graphics, engine architecture, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience managing large-scale engineering teams and complex software development projects.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles , design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with console development (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox) is highly desirable.
