Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement complex network solutions for telecommunications services , ensuring scalability, resilience, and high availability.
• Lead the deployment of new network technologies and upgrades, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning to post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including designs, configurations, and operational procedures for remote teams.
• Proactively monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent service disruptions.
• Collaborate effectively with remote engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and ensure seamless network operation.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the distributed team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in telecoms network engineering , with a significant focus on network architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale IP networks, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
• Strong understanding of DWDM, MPLS, VPNs, and other core telecommunications network technologies.
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed network environments remotely.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a fully remote work setting.
