About the Role
Our client is seeking a deeply analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their product development team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. You will be at the forefront of understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations, translating research findings into actionable insights that drive product strategy and design decisions. This role is critical in ensuring our digital products are not only functional but also intuitive, engaging, and meet the evolving needs of our diverse user base. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle, fostering a user-centered culture across the organization from your remote workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user pain points, needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and present them effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, engineering) to ensure research findings inform product strategy and design iterations.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user understanding across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the advancement of research practices within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of research methodologies and impact.
- Proficiency in designing and conducting various research methods (qualitative and quantitative).
- Experience with user research tools and platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, Maze).
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence product decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
