Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their growing product team in Norwich . This role is critical for uncovering user needs, validating design concepts, and providing actionable insights that inform product strategy and design decisions. You will conduct a variety of research studies, working closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure our digital products are user-centered and highly effective. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated researcher to influence product development in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute a wide range of qualitative and quantitative UX research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.
• Analyze research data to identify user pain points, needs, and behaviors, synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering) to define research objectives and integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to represent user needs and advocate for the user.
• Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, effectively communicating the impact of user insights.
• Stay current with the latest UX research methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research or a related field, with a portfolio demonstrating research projects and impact.
• Proven expertise in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.
