About the Role
Our client is seeking an insightful and analytical Senior UX Researcher to join their product development team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to conduct impactful research from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for uncovering user needs, understanding user behaviors, and providing actionable insights that drive product design and strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of various research methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and engineers in a remote environment. Your research will be critical in ensuring our products are user-centric, intuitive, and solve real-world problems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a range of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key user pain points, needs, and opportunities.
- Translate research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for product and design teams.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define research objectives and integrate research into the product development lifecycle.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product design process, ensuring user needs are prioritized.
- Develop and maintain research documentation, including reports, personas, and user journey maps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX research or a related field, with a portfolio showcasing your research process and impact.
- Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience using research tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research findings to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
