Senior Well Integrity Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join their team, operating on a fully remote basis. This critical role focuses on ensuring the long-term integrity and safety of wells throughout their lifecycle, from construction to abandonment. You will develop and implement well integrity management systems, conduct risk assessments, and provide technical expertise to safeguard operations and the environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive well integrity management systems (WIMS).
• Conduct detailed risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA) to identify potential well integrity threats.
• Define inspection, testing, and monitoring programs for wells to ensure continued integrity.
• Analyze well data, including pressure tests and monitoring results, to assess well condition.
• Provide technical guidance on well integrity requirements during drilling, completion, and intervention operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for well integrity.

Requirements

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well integrity , well operations, or a related field within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of well construction, completion, and intervention technologies.
• Proficiency with well integrity software and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
