Senior Well Operations Engineer

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Well Operations Engineer to join their technical team in Brighton, East Sussex . Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute various well operations, including completions, workovers, and interventions, in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Develop detailed Well Operations Programs and ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
• Manage the procurement and logistics of necessary equipment and services for well operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential operational hazards.
• Oversee on-site operations, providing technical guidance and supervision to field teams.
• Analyze operational data, prepare post-operation reports, and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in well operations or drilling engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven experience with completion design , intervention techniques, and well integrity management.
• Strong knowledge of oilfield equipment, tools, and associated risks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and reporting for well operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to a hybrid working model.
