About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Manager to lead their social media presence from their base in Oxford . This role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive qualified traffic. You will manage content creation, community engagement, social advertising campaigns, and performance analysis, working collaboratively with the wider marketing team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and brand voice.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content (text, image, video) for all social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement; respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations for strategy refinement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform updates, and emerging trends.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing management.
- Proven success in developing and implementing engaging social media strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for each.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in creating compelling social media content and running paid social campaigns.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
