About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical Sports Performance Analyst to join their dedicated performance team based in Milton Keynes . You will play a crucial role in enhancing athletic performance by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from training and competition. Your insights will directly inform coaching strategies, player development, and tactical planning. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of sports science, data visualization, and statistical analysis. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, and support staff to provide actionable feedback and drive continuous improvement in performance metrics. This is an on-site role demanding a strong presence within the training environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze performance data from training sessions and competitive events using specialized software.
• Provide detailed statistical reports and video analysis to coaches and athletes to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain databases of performance metrics and player statistics.
• Collaborate with coaches to integrate performance data into training programs and tactical strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in sports science, performance analysis techniques, and technology.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, Biomechanics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Sports Performance Analyst in a professional or elite sports setting.
• Proficiency in performance analysis software (e.g., Hudl, Dartfish) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
