Supply Chain Analyst - Global Sourcing

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst with expertise in Global Sourcing to join their remote team. You will analyze complex supply chain data, develop models for forecasting, and recommend strategies to enhance network performance and reduce lead times. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze global supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop and maintain supply chain models, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and network design.
• Support the global sourcing team by providing data-driven insights for supplier selection, negotiation, and risk assessment.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain and report on performance against targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and operations, to implement supply chain strategies.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance global supply chain visibility and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis , logistics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on global operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with global sourcing strategies and understanding of international logistics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote team.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
