About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Leeds . This role is essential for optimizing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company's supply chain operations within the FMCG sector. Working within a hybrid model, you will analyze complex data sets, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks. You will play a key role in ensuring our client's products reach consumers efficiently and reliably, contributing directly to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to implement process improvements.
- Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels across the network.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to transportation, warehousing, and distribution strategies.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related analytical role, preferably in FMCG .
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software is a plus.
