Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team in Leeds , supporting operations within the FMCG sector. You will leverage data analytics to identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Develop and maintain inventory management reports, forecasts, and models to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead times, delivery performance, and costs, reporting on variances.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to streamline processes and resolve supply chain issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new supply chain strategies and systems.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for savings within the supply chain operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of inventory management principles and logistics operations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
