About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Optimization Engineer to join their operations in Liverpool . This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and materials across the company's supply chain network. You will analyze existing logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions. This hybrid role allows for a mix of on-site analysis and remote strategic planning, contributing to significant enhancements in operational performance and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations , including logistics, inventory management, and warehousing.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Utilize data analytics and modeling tools to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and improve network design.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of supply chain processes.
- Identify and implement best practices in supply chain management and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key supply chain performance metrics and report on progress towards optimization goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations engineering.
- Proven experience with supply chain optimization software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management capabilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
