Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls for telecommunications infrastructure .
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, providing timely and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades, expansions, and new technology integration.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar telecoms role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network security principles.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware from leading vendors in the telecoms industry .
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
