About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Telecoms Network Operations Manager to lead their network operations center (NOC) team in Belfast . This critical role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's telecommunications network, ensuring its stability, performance, and security. You will manage a team of skilled professionals, implement operational best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, providing direction, support, and performance management.
- Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and incident management of the company's telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
- Drive the resolution of network incidents and outages, coordinating response efforts and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Implement and manage network performance monitoring tools and reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct regular capacity planning and resource management to ensure network scalability and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telecoms network operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and operational support systems.
- Experience managing teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and ticketing systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic operational improvements in Belfast .
