This role is crucial for the day-to-day monitoring, management, and support of their extensive telecommunications network. You will play a key part in ensuring service continuity, responding to incidents, and maintaining the health of the network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the telecoms network for performance issues, outages, and security threats using advanced management tools.
- Respond promptly to network alarms and incidents, performing initial diagnosis and escalation as needed.
- Execute standard operating procedures for network maintenance, configuration changes, and service restoration.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical problems affecting service delivery.
- Generate regular reports on network performance, availability, and incident trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of network monitoring and incident management processes.
Requirements
- Experience in a network operations or similar technical support role within the telecommunications sector.
- Solid understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP) and common network hardware.
- Familiarity with network monitoring software and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, often managing multiple incidents simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
