Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical projects within their network deployment division, operating remotely from Sunderland . This role is essential for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of various telecommunications initiatives, from infrastructure upgrades to new service rollouts. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to achieve project objectives. This fully remote position requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of project management methodologies, and specific knowledge of the telecoms landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close telecommunications projects according to defined scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear, concise reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements in the telecoms sector .

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering successful telecoms projects.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or Jira.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications technologies and deployment processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, vital for remote team management.
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
