About the Role
Our client, a prestigious university in Oxford , is seeking a meticulous and engaging University Admissions Officer to join their dynamic admissions team. This role is central to attracting and recruiting talented students, managing applications, and providing prospective students with comprehensive guidance. You will play a key part in the student journey from initial inquiry through to enrollment, contributing to the university's reputation and diversity. This hybrid role combines essential on-campus responsibilities with remote working flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and evaluate university applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Communicate effectively with prospective students, parents, and educational advisors regarding admissions policies and procedures.
- Participate in recruitment events, both virtual and in-person, to promote the university's programs.
- Maintain accurate records of applicant data and prepare regular reports on admissions statistics.
- Liaise with academic departments to ensure accurate program information is disseminated to applicants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Previous experience in university admissions, student recruitment, or a related administrative role.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using student information systems (SIS) and CRM software is advantageous.
