About the Role
Our client is looking for a diligent Well Integrity Engineer to join their fully remote technical team. This role is paramount in ensuring the safety, environmental protection, and operational reliability of oil and gas wells throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive well integrity management systems and strategies, contributing to safe and efficient operations from your home office. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage well integrity management plans (WIMPs) in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to manage and mitigate well integrity threats.
- Analyze well performance data, including pressure monitoring and diagnostic testing results.
- Oversee well integrity related activities, such as casing repairs, valve replacements, and pressure control operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for well safety .
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and presentations on well integrity status and proposed actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in well integrity or related well engineering disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of well construction, completion, and abandonment practices.
- Proficiency with well integrity software and data analysis tools.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks governing well integrity in the oil and gas sector .
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent remote communication capabilities.
