About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and relationship-focused Account Manager to oversee and grow their portfolio of key accounts in the Southampton area. This role is paramount in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and identifying opportunities for account expansion. You will act as the primary point of contact, building deep, trusted partnerships and ensuring clients receive exceptional service and value. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of high-value key accounts , ensuring strong client relationships and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement account growth strategies to increase revenue and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, strategic objectives, and future needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, support, operations) to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
- Monitor client feedback and market trends to proactively recommend improvements and new service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager , Key Account Manager, or in a similar client-facing sales role.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing client relationships, particularly with large accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and a good understanding of sales processes.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a commitment to client success in the Southampton region.
