Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and stress calculations using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
- Design and develop new aircraft structural components and repair schemes, ensuring optimal strength, weight, and cost-effectiveness.
- Investigate structural failures and damage, providing detailed reports and recommending effective repair solutions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation of structural designs and repairs.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including stress reports, repair manuals, and design specifications.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in aerospace materials and structural engineering techniques.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant professional experience as an Aircraft Structures Engineer .
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS) and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of aircraft materials, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and structural integrity principles.
- Experience with composite and metallic structural design and repair methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
