About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join their technical team in Wolverhampton . This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing complex electrical systems in a variety of vehicles, including modern cars, commercial vehicles, and specialist equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting wiring issues, installing and maintaining electrical components, and ensuring all systems operate correctly and safely. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicle systems, including lighting, ignition, battery, and charging systems.
• Install and service electrical components such as alarms, audio systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
• Perform electrical system upgrades and modifications as required.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify electrical issues efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician or in a similar electrical repair role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, electronics, and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic tools.
• A valid UK driving license is required.
