About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and organized Automotive Parts Advisor to join their busy dealership in Reading . This role is key to the smooth operation of the service and sales departments, ensuring the timely availability of necessary vehicle parts and accessories. You will manage stock levels, process orders, and provide essential support to technicians and customers, acting as a crucial link in the automotive supply chain, operating from their Reading location.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and supply vehicle parts and accessories to service technicians and customers.
• Manage stock inventory, ensuring accurate records and conducting regular stock checks.
• Process orders efficiently using the dealership's management system.
• Respond to customer and technician inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department or a similar inventory management role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle makes and models, and their associated parts.
• Familiarity with parts cataloguing systems and dealership management software.
