About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Trim & Interior Technician to join their specialized team in Norwich . This role involves the repair, refurbishment, and installation of vehicle interiors, including seats, dashboards, carpets, and headlinings, to an exceptionally high standard. You will work with a variety of vehicle types, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functional integrity of interior components. Key Responsibilities

• Repair, re-trim, and refurbish vehicle seats, door cards, dashboards, and other interior trim components.
• Install and fit new interior parts, ensuring perfect alignment and finish.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to interior electronic components, such as seat heating or ambient lighting.
• Work with various materials including leather, vinyl, fabric, and plastics.
• Ensure all work meets the client's high standards for quality and finish.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and manage tools and materials effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive trim fitting, upholstery, or a similar interior refurbishment role.
• Proficiency in working with automotive interior materials and adhesives.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams for component fitting.
• Strong understanding of automotive interior systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
