About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their online business in Manchester . You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience from order placement to delivery, managing inventory, logistics, and customer service functions. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background in e-commerce, contributing directly to the efficiency and growth of the company's digital footprint, and working within a progressive team focused on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize all aspects of the e-commerce fulfillment process , including warehousing, inventory management, and shipping.
Oversee the customer service team, ensuring high standards of support and timely resolution of inquiries.
Implement and refine operational workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the marketing and IT teams to ensure smooth website performance and promotional execution.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order processing, delivery times, and customer feedback.
Identify and implement process improvements and technological solutions to streamline operations.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related logistics management role.
Proven ability to manage inventory, shipping, and customer service operations effectively.
Strong understanding of supply chain management and fulfillment best practices.
Experience with order management systems (OMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with the Manchester business landscape is a plus.
