E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their online retail operations in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including website maintenance, order processing, and customer support inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Manage inventory levels across all sales channels, implementing effective stock control measures to prevent stockouts and minimize overstock.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective warehousing, shipping, and returns processes.
• Analyze operational performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key e-commerce operations functions.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support promotional activities and ensure operational readiness for peak trading periods.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar logistics/supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and CRM systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a high-performance culture.
