Geologist - Exploration - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Geologist to join their global exploration team, operating entirely remotely. This position offers the unique advantage of contributing to significant discovery efforts without the need for constant on-site presence. You will be instrumental in identifying prospective areas, analyzing geological data, and supporting exploration programs aimed at uncovering new mineral resources. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze geological, geophysical, and geochemical data to identify and prioritize exploration targets.
• Conduct desktop studies and literature reviews to assess mineral potential.
• Assist in the planning and interpretation of field exploration activities, including mapping and sampling.
• Prepare geological reports, presentations, and summaries of findings.
• Collaborate with senior geologists and exploration managers on project strategy.
• Maintain accurate and organized geological databases for effective data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mineral exploration geology.
• Proficiency in geological mapping, data interpretation, and GIS software.
• Understanding of various deposit types and exploration techniques.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote capacity .
