Geophysicist - Seismic Interpretation

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Geophysicist with expertise in Seismic Interpretation to join their exploration team in Milton Keynes . Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed seismic data interpretation to identify structural and stratigraphic traps.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information.
• Build and validate geophysical models to support prospect evaluation.
• Quantify uncertainties and provide robust risk assessments for exploration targets.
• Utilize state-of-the-art geophysical software and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to provide a comprehensive subsurface understanding.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geophysics or a related earth science field.
• Significant experience in seismic interpretation for exploration in the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proficiency with seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite).
• Strong understanding of seismic processing, acquisition, and attribute analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical information.
