Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Industrial Engineer specializing in Operations Improvement to join their team in Glasgow, Scotland, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools to reduce waste, improve flow, and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct detailed process mapping, time studies, and capacity analyses to inform improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and engineering teams to design and implement new operational procedures and systems.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to track progress and ensure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Develop and deliver training to operational staff on new processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in industrial engineering, focusing on operations improvement and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience applying them in a production environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical software, and process modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote analysis with on-site collaboration in Glasgow .
