Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineering Specialist to join their established team in Reading . This role is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and productivity through expert analysis and implementation of industrial engineering principles. You will be involved in process design, optimization, and problem-solving, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes, workflows, and layouts to identify areas for optimization.
- Design and implement improved processes that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process changes and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct time studies, motion studies, and ergonomic assessments to improve workplace efficiency and safety.
- Utilize data analysis and simulation tools to support process design and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar process engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Proficiency in process analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
- Experience with CAD software and statistical analysis tools is preferred.
