About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and insightful Lead UX Researcher to guide user experience initiatives for their rapidly growing e-commerce platform in Liverpool . You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing a variety of user research studies to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors, translating these findings into actionable recommendations that shape product strategy and design. This leadership role requires a passion for understanding users, a robust research toolkit, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to advocate for the user and drive data-informed product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative user research studies (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing).
- Define research objectives and methodologies to address key product and business questions.
- Synthesize research findings into clear, compelling insights and actionable recommendations for product, design, and engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and data analysts to integrate user insights into the product development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior researchers and champion a user-centered approach across the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in UX research, with a proven track record in the e-commerce or digital product space.
- Expertise in a wide range of research methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience influencing stakeholders.
