About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily care, feeding, and health monitoring of all livestock.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Oversee breeding programs and ensure optimal reproductive performance.
• Supervise and train farmhands involved in livestock operations.
• Maintain accurate records of animal health, movements, feed consumption, and production.
• Ensure compliance with all animal welfare regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in livestock management, with a strong understanding of animal husbandry.
• Knowledge of animal health, nutrition, and reproductive cycles.
• Experience in managing and motivating a team.
• Familiarity with relevant agricultural regulations and best practices.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
• A degree or diploma in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
