Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surface and underground surveys using modern surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, laser scanners).
• Prepare and maintain accurate mine plans, cross-sections, and reports.
• Establish and control survey control networks within the mine.
• Monitor ground movement and provide data for stability assessments.
• Collaborate with geologists and engineers to integrate survey data into mine planning.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with industry standards and regulations in Bristol .

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mine surveying or similar industrial surveying roles.
• Proficiency with surveying software and data processing techniques.
• Experience with underground surveying in mining environments is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety procedures for surveying work in South West England .
