About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and technically adept Project Engineer to join their team, supporting a variety of utilities and infrastructure projects primarily located in the Sheffield region. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional site visits. You will be involved in the planning, design support, and execution phases of projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and meet all technical and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of utility and infrastructure projects.
- Support site teams by providing technical guidance and resolving engineering queries.
- Review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and risk assessments.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, reporting any deviations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Some experience in project engineering or site engineering within the utilities or infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with project management principles and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD and project planning tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
