About the Role
Our client is actively seeking an experienced Remote BIM Architect to join their innovative and forward-thinking architectural practice. This role is fully remote, offering the successful candidate the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK . You will be responsible for leading the implementation and utilization of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across a diverse range of exciting projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in architecture, coupled with expert knowledge of BIM software and workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of BIM strategies and workflows for architectural projects.
- Create, coordinate, and manage complex BIM models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration between design teams, consultants, and contractors through effective BIM coordination.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and templates to ensure consistency and quality.
- Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Ensure models are developed to meet specified Level of Detail (LOD) and Level of Information (LOI) requirements.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in using BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, and a deep understanding of BIM execution plans.
- Proven experience in managing BIM projects and coordinating multidisciplinary models.
- Strong knowledge of UK BIM standards and protocols (e.g., BS EN ISO 19650).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
