Remote BIM Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Remote BIM Architect to join their distributed team, contributing to a variety of exciting projects. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM), ensuring design integrity, coordination, and efficient collaboration among project teams globally. This position is ideal for a technically proficient architect who excels in a remote work setting and is adept at leveraging BIM technology to deliver high-quality architectural designs for a diverse client base, supporting projects across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Ensure model accuracy, adherence to BIM standards, and effective clash detection.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and contractors, to coordinate designs.
• Produce detailed architectural documentation, drawings, and schedules from BIM models.
• Provide technical support and guidance on BIM workflows and software to project teams.
• Participate in virtual design review meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with proven experience in BIM environments.
• Expertise in Revit and a strong understanding of BIM protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Experience with clash detection software and model coordination platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote working.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across different time zones.
• Familiarity with various project types and design stages.
