About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced BIM Architect to join their fully remote team, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge architectural solutions across the UK. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy architect with a passion for Building Information Modelling (BIM) and a proven ability to work effectively in a distributed environment. You will lead the BIM strategy on projects, ensuring seamless integration of design, coordination, and data management. Working remotely, you will collaborate with project teams and clients globally, contributing to innovative projects while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage BIM processes across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Develop and maintain high-quality BIM models, coordinating with consultants and contractors to resolve clashes and optimize design.
- Provide technical expertise and support on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
- Ensure that all project BIM data is accurate, up-to-date, and meets project and client requirements.
- Champion the adoption and effective use of BIM technologies to enhance design quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
Requirements
- A recognized qualification in Architecture and extensive experience in BIM-centric architectural practice.
- Proven expertise in using Revit for complex architectural modelling and coordination.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and their application in practice.
- Experience with federated models and clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks).
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage project deliverables effectively.
