About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated Remote Chemical Engineer specializing in Process Optimization to join their established team. This role is entirely remote, offering flexibility while focusing on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of chemical manufacturing processes across various global sites. You will leverage advanced modeling, simulation, and data analysis techniques to identify bottlenecks, reduce operational costs, and improve product quality. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, adept at collaborating virtually and driving process improvements from a distance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing chemical processes to identify opportunities for optimization in efficiency, yield, and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies using simulation tools and data analytics.
- Design and oversee virtual or remote execution of experiments to validate optimization initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in chemical process optimization.
- Provide remote technical support and guidance to plant operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Substantial experience in process engineering, with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and mass transfer.
- Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
