About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Management Accountant to join their fully remote finance team, serving operations across the UK. This role is crucial for providing timely and accurate management information, supporting business decision-making through insightful financial analysis, and driving process improvements. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, working closely with various department heads to understand operational drivers and financial implications. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the company.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary to support strategic business decisions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of robust financial controls and reporting systems.
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in management accounting.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting .
- Strong understanding of business operations and financial drivers.
