About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and self-motivated Residential Architect to join their fully remote team, servicing clients primarily in the Portsmouth area and beyond. This position is ideal for an architect who excels at designing bespoke homes and extensions, thrives in a flexible working environment, and possesses excellent client-facing skills. You will manage projects from initial client consultation through to detailed design, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing outcomes for a range of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for residential projects.
• Develop conceptual designs, architectural drawings, and 3D visualizations for bespoke homes and renovations.
• Prepare and submit planning applications and building regulations documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project progression.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the design and approval process.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Architect with demonstrable experience in residential design .
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Strong understanding of UK planning policies and building regulations relevant to domestic properties.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting .
