About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and dedicated Remote Residential Architect to join their expanding team, working entirely from home. This role focuses on designing beautiful, functional, and energy-efficient homes for a diverse range of clients across the UK . You will manage projects from initial client consultations and concept development through to detailed drawings for planning and building regulations approval. If you have a strong portfolio in residential design and excel in a self-directed, remote work environment, this is an excellent opportunity to shape modern living spaces without geographical constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop architectural plans for new residential builds, extensions, and refurbishments.
- Conduct initial client consultations and site assessments remotely, understanding their needs and aspirations.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and supporting documents for planning and building control applications.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK building regulations, planning policies, and energy efficiency standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and remote consultants to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Architect with a significant portfolio of residential projects.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential architectural design.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with strong skills in producing detailed construction drawings.
- Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations specific to residential properties.
- Excellent communication, client management, and organizational skills for remote work.
