About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Remote Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and development of their next-generation network infrastructure. Working entirely from home, you will be instrumental in defining the technical strategy and roadmap for our client's core network services. This role requires deep expertise in network design, scalability, and emerging technologies within the telecommunications industry. You will collaborate with a distributed team of engineers and product managers to create resilient, high-performance network solutions that support rapid business growth, driving innovation from a remote-first perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions for core telecom services, including routing, switching, and transport layers.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and standards to enhance network capabilities and performance.
• Develop high-level and low-level network designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and operationalization of designed solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on network architecture best practices to internal teams.
• Contribute to the long-term network strategy and capacity planning efforts.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in network architecture and design within the telecommunications sector.
• Deep understanding of SDN/NFV , cloud networking, and modern transport technologies.
• Proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and MPLS.
• Experience designing for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, essential for a remote role.
