Senior Chemical Process Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize chemical processes to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and pilot plant trials for new product development and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and hazard assessments.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations, and safety teams to ensure seamless integration and safe operation of new processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to operations personnel.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in chemical process design and optimisation.
• Proven experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and HAZOP studies.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
