Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and scale-up of new chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Conduct thorough process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement necessary safety controls.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes, timelines, and budgets for process engineering initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement effective corrective actions in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in chemical process design, optimization, and scale-up.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and P&ID development.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical reaction engineering , thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Experience with HAZOP studies and Process Safety Management (PSM) principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
