About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Masseuse to join their expanding wellness centre in Southampton . This role is ideal for a dedicated therapist who is passionate about therapeutic massage and client well-being. You will be responsible for providing a range of advanced massage therapies, conducting client assessments, and potentially leading a small team of therapists. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage, Swedish, and hot stone, tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess physical condition, discuss therapeutic goals, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide expert advice on post-treatment care and recommend further therapies or exercises to promote recovery and well-being.
• Maintain detailed client records, documenting treatments, progress, and any relevant observations.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in treatment rooms and throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, VTCT) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as a practising Masseuse.
• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to client confidentiality and care.
