Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage advanced telecom network solutions , including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal uptime and service quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and new technology implementations.
- Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering , specifically within the telecoms industry .
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and network security principles.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
