Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex telecommunications networks, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime and user experience.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and best practices to protect against threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new services and technologies into the existing infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configuration standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a specialization in telecommunications.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Proficiency in network security concepts and tools, including VPNs and intrusion detection systems.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to network management.
