Senior Power Systems Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly proficient Senior Power Systems Engineer to join their globally distributed team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced analysis and simulation of power systems, including load flow, short circuit, and transient stability studies.
• Design and specify electrical equipment for power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
• Develop and implement protection schemes and coordination studies to ensure system safety and reliability.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for improving power system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with international teams, utilities, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and integration.
• Create comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in power system analysis, design, and operations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
• Strong knowledge of grid codes, international standards, and renewable energy integration challenges.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for remote team environments.
