About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to lead their social media strategy and execution from their Leeds office. You will be responsible for developing engaging content, growing our online community, and driving measurable results through effective social media campaigns across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, audience engagement strategies, and paid social advertising, enabling you to significantly impact brand awareness and customer acquisition, working within a dynamic and forward-thinking marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging, high-quality content (including text, images, video) for all social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Manage and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve campaign objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and brand mentions, engaging with the community and responding to comments and messages.
- Analyze social media performance data, track key metrics, and generate regular reports with actionable insights for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators and designers, to ensure a cohesive brand message and integrated campaign execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaign management.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for each.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in creating and managing paid social advertising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and community management.
